Board met in ~. ~ sion. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Santa &ha, City Hall, May 12,1919, 7:30 p.m. Roll call, Trustees Tubbs, Chapman, Dale and Greenleaf being Present. In Re Petition for ll~ht,Bristol St. In Re Hearing, Stage Line,C.E.Dixon In Re E!eotrio:Wirlng Bond C.L. Eauffman In Re Application for Restaurant license, Wright Bros. In Re Bond of Mfs.Murray In Re Sewer on West Washington Ave. In Re Dumpdriveway A petition si~ned by a number of property owners and residents of North Bristol and vicinity asking that a street light be placed midway between Washington Ave. and l?th St. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, same was referred to a committee. Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbs being appointed aa such committee. In the matter of the application of C.E.Dlxon for an auto stage line between Huntington Beach and this City, hearing of same was set for May 19th,1919, ?:30 p.m. on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried. On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Tubbs, the bond of Chas.L.Kauffman to do electric wiring was referred to the Chair for approval. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman the application of Wright Bros. to conduct a restaurant at ~1~ West ~th St. wa~ referred to the Police committee with power to act. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale, the bond c~ Mrs. Laura Mumray for $5000 with the Fidelity & Deposit Co. aa surety, wam referred to the Chair for approval. The petitioners for a sewer on West Washington between Parton and Flower 8ts. having deposited with the City $125.O0, same being half of the estimated cost for a sewer on said portion of street,~ on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf amd carried, Sewer Supt.Wray was instructed to construct the same. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, it was deoided~hat the City consummate the ne~tlationa with J.H.Stewart for $200.00 for a driveway along his property to be used in reaching the city dump ground and that the City construct a fence along said driveway.
