In Re Committee report pool room Roger Shipley The committee consisting of Trustees Tubhe and Dale, and City Marshal Jernigan in reference to the application of Roger Shipley to conduct a pool room at 1067 West 5th St. reported unfavorable, and on motion of Trustee Tubbe, ease duly eeoonded by Chapman, wa~denied. In Re Contractors paving E.Sth In Re Intersection 5th and Minter In Re Matters pertaining to Newbert ?rotection Dist. In Re Connecting City and County pavement, N.E.Section In Re On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly ascended by Greenleaf, Committee on City Moneys Cont. the committee appointed in reference to City Moneye wee continued for one week, and City Arty. Scott added to the committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly ascended by Chapman and carried, the oontr~t for paving East 5th St. from the East line of French St. to Poinsettia 8t. was divided on a 50-50 basis. Steele Finley having the privilege of paving the West half, and the Orange County Engineering and Conet.Co. the East portion. The dividing line to be the nearest lot line. # On motion of Truetee t~Abbs, duly eeoonded by Greenleaf, paving the intersection at ~th ~nd Minter gte.was referred to City Engineer Roy and if found necessary to remove the present pavement, the City to re-imburee property ownere according to the amount paid by them for eame. # On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly ascended by Chapman, action pertaining to the agreement with the Newbert Protection Diet. was poetponed for one week. The motion of Trustee to take up the matter in the Northeast section of the City, Grand Ave. Washington Ave. and l?th sa.was duly ascended by Trustee Chapman and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded bY Greenleaf, the Clerk was inetructed to draw a warrant on the City Treasurer for $10, OO for ~ Victory Bonds as follows: $6000 First Nat'L.Bank, $2000 Orange Ce. Say.& Trust Co., $2000 to Cal.Nat'l. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly eeoonded by Chapman, that · committee be appointed to revlee the Auto Packing Ordinance, Trustees Tubbs,Dale, City Arty, City Engineer,City Marehal Jernigan and Fire Chief Luexembottrger were appointed as euoh committee.
