Trustees TuObs, Minutes of May Chapman, Dale, and Greenleaf being present. 5th, and 12th, read and approved. In Re The application of L. Kessler for a permit to conduct and Application of L. Kessler run a dance and entertainment either at the Elks Hall on May 2~th, or the Armory Hall, May 3Otb, 1919, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf, dully seconded by Dale, the matter was referred to the Police Committee with power to act. In Re The application of L.O.Vaughn for a permit to install a Application L.O.Vaughn,gas tax~ 200 gal. gasoline tank for the storing of gasoline on Lot 1, Block 22, Original City lots. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman, same was referred to the Fire Committee with power to act. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf,duly seconded by Chapman, In Re Permit, C.E. Arms:rong and J.T.Klnslow In Re Permit Gilbert Wrig2t,pool hall, In Re Application J.T.Agaganian Special Police In Re Application C.L. Conner as special police C.E. Dixon, Stage Line In Re Newbert Protection District a~reement the petitions cf C.E. to repair amd remodel Armstrong and J.T.ginslow for permits their residences was granted. In the matter of the application of Gilbert fright for a permit to oonducta pool abd billiard hall on East ~th St. formerly in the place of David Cobau. On motion of TrustSe Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf, the license for same wa~ granted. On motion cf Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale, the application of Jim Agaganian, garbage collector, tc he appointed a special policeman was denied. # On motion cf Trustee Tubbs,duly seconded by Greenleaf, the application of Caewell L. Conner to be appointed a special police officer without pay was referred to the police oommit~ee. In the matter of the hearing of Chae.E.Dixon, fora permit to operate and conduct an auto stage line between this City and Huntington Beach by way of Talbart and South Main. On motion of Trustee Tuhbs, duly seconded by Dale and oarrie~, same was granted for the period of three years. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs. duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the agreement with the Newbert Protection District pertaining to dumping trash and rubbish, is hereby cancelled same being unsatisfactory to the city.
