15 Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Clerk. Present, Trustees Tubbs,~hapman, On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly was appointed President pro rem. Santa Aha, Cal. City Hall, June 16th,1919, 7:30 p.m. Dale and Oreenlesf. seconded by Chapman and carried, Minutes of June 2nd and 9th read and approved. A motion by Trustee Tubbs, that it is the sense of the Board to carry liability insurance on the City employees with the State Compensation Insurance Fund as surety, taking effect st once on a $400.00 quarterly basis, and that the President pro tom be authorized to sign a warrant to cover the first payment of some, was duly seconded by Trustee Dale and carried. A communication from the Chamber of Commerce Public Improvement Committee in reference to enforcing the law pertaining to cleaning vacant lots and parkings from weeds, was read and on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs, referred to a committee. Trustees Chapman and Dale being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded bM Chapman and carried, the matter of insurance on the City Hall Building was referred to the Chair with power to act. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the paving of East Fifth St. from French to Poinsettia is to be done according to Epeoificatione No.~O. On motion of Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Chapman, the matter of r~pai~in~ the names of the different street~ on the curb was referred to a committee, Trustees Tubbs mad Dale were appointed as such committee. 0~ motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman, the reported nuisance of the building on Eyoamore Et. between Third and Fourth was referred to a committee, Trustees Chapman and Dale and City Attorney Scott being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, thc matter of sewerlng Grand Ave. from Grace to Washington Ave. was referred to a committee, Trustees Chapman and Dale being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee Dale,duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the request of RSbt. McFadden to out a driveway in the curb in front of his property on Bush Et. was granted. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried,
