Bauer, pertaining to <br />the building of a retaining wall on the west side of <br />the Flower Street Bridge, releasing the city from any <br />damages caused by water. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br /> <br />Tubos, a petition to pave Twentieth Street from Main <br /> <br /> to Spurgeon, was referred back for more signatures. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by <br />Greenleaf, a petition of property owners to pave Pine <br />and Cedar to Hickory, was granted and the Clerk instruc- <br /> <br /> all Public Utilities of the Board's <br /> <br />ted to so notify <br />action. <br /> <br />On motion of <br /> <br /> Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />Chapman, City K~gineer Hoy wa~ instructed to furnish <br />an estimate of comte for paving streets adjacent to all <br />Puolic So,cole. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenlea~f <br /> <br />the report of Engineer Hoy, showing t~e location of the <br />S.A.V.I. Ditch on East Seventeenth Street was accepted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbe, <br />the Clerk wa~ instructed to advertise for bide for <br />paving School Property on West Second Street. Bids to <br />be opened ?:50 P.M. Sept. 22, 1919. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenlea~, duly seconded hy <br />Tub~s, President Mitchell was authorized to sign the <br />contract with the Orange County Engineering and Con- <br />etruction Company for paving Grand Avenue from Fourth <br />Street to Santa Clara and a portion of Santa Clara. <br />Payments of 75~ on same to be made on a monthly est- <br />imate and 25% after thirty-five days. Time for com- <br />pletion of same ninety days. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> the Police Committee wa~ authorized to proceed to poet <br /> signs designating speed limits withing the city. <br /> <br /> # <br /> <br /> <br />
