M. <br /> <br />Dale and Greenleaf. <br /> <br />approved as read. <br /> <br /> In the matter of the invitation from the Anaheim <br /> Post of the American Legion in reference to this City <br /> participating in the celebration to be held at Anaheim <br /> Armistice Day, November llth, was on motion of Trustee <br /> Tubhs, duly ee~nded by Greenleaf and carried, tabled <br /> for waiting action to be taken at meeting with Chamber <br /> of Commerce. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and <br /> carried, the entertainment committee of the Local Poet <br /> 131, American Legion, wa~granted permission to conduct <br /> <br />dances at the Athletic Hall, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, <br />carried, the protest of Mr. <br /> <br /> 3rd and Spurgeon Streets. <br /> <br />duly second ed by Chapman and <br />and Mrs. W. A. Mitchell in <br /> <br />reference to the opening of Cubbon ~treet was ordered <br />filed for future reference. <br /> <br />A protest signed by 18 Get,rs of property abutting upon <br />the proposed opening of Sycamore Street protesting again <br />et the same was read, and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf <br />duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the protest wam <br />referred to the City Engineer for checking. <br /> <br />The Street Improvement Bond of Wells and Bressler for <br />$5,000 with W. C. Wells and Sam Hill ae sureties was on <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf du~y seconded by Dele and <br />carried, referred to the chair for approval. <br /> <br />The PlumBers and Gas Fitters Bond of B. L. Goodrich for <br />$500.00 with the National Surety Company, as surety <br />was on' motion of Trustee Oh'apman, duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried, referred to the chair for approval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, the bond of W. I. Storm for $500. with <br />R. P. Mitchell, and O. V. Port ss sureties to do privat, <br />contract sewer work, was referred to the chair for <br />approval, smd permission granted on $50. cash deposited <br /> <br /> <br />
