Santa A~a City Hall November gth, 1920 7:30 Board met in regular adjourned session. Meeting called to order by °res. Mitchell. Present: Trustees Chapm~n, Da~e and Greenleaf. .Absent: Trustees Tubbe. In Re Lea, re of Abeence was extended W. F. Heathman A~mistice Day ?xercises On motion,of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapman and carried, City Recorder Heathmans request for a further extension of 10 days leave of absence from November 12th was granted. An invitation from Santa Ana Poet~ 131 Amerloal Legioz inviting the Board of Trustees to attend the Armistice Day exercises at 3: P. M. November llth, 1920 at Birch Park was accepted and on motion of Trustee Greenleaf seconded by Trustee Chapman and carried. In Re Granged Electric Co. Bond Tn Re ~etitlon to Street ra~e East '~alnut In Re Grade, Plans,and Srecifioatlo~le East Walnut Street. In Re Street Superintendent, and Gas RSport Oil Hoy was and to Avenue Street On motion cf Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenles and carried, the ~ond of the Granger Electric Company for $500. with the Fidelity and Caeulty Company of YorX as surety to do electric wiring was referred to th chair for approval. The petition signed by property owners on Walnut Street between Orange Avenue and Cedar Street petitioning the Board to order the above portion of Street paved under Specifications No. gO with ~" concrete, 1-2~-5 mixture with 1~~ asphalt top. On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dale and ca, tied, the petition wa~ ~ranted exceptin~ tthe~block between Halliday and Cedar Streets, On motion of Trustee W. A. Greenleaf duly seconded by Trustee H. H. Dale and carried, Street Superintendent instructed to prepare plane and Specifications establish the grade of Walnut Street from Orange to Cedar. Supt. Hoy'e report showing the amount of oil and Gas used by the different departments for the months of September and October, was on motion of Trustee Green- leaf duly seconded by Dale and c arried, accepted and the Clerk instructed to make the following charges: Sanitary Dept. $172.72; Police Dept. $16.9g$ and to credit Street Dept, with $199.?0.
