M. in reference to the matter <br /> of the Application of the Southern Calif. Edison Co., <br /> for an order establishing Suet and reasonable rates for <br /> the sale of electricity. <br /> <br /> A communication from the ~erchants and Manufacturing <br />Association Association asking that the Board e~ploy two plain <br /> <br /> clothes night patrolmen for better protection to the <br /> business district. On motion of Trustee Dale duly <br /> seconded :~y Chapman and carried, ssme was ordered placed <br /> on file for fuSure ~eference. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> Co. and carried the Robertson Elec. Co., were g~rent~d per- <br /> mission to hang electric signs at 415 N. ~ain forR. R. <br /> Sharer, 312 N. Sycamore,Leipsic Dry Goods Co. and 519 <br /> N. Main Street, Orange County Auto Club, same to be done <br /> under the supervision of the City Electrician. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tuhbs duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> and carried a p=rmit was granted C. I. ~cCoy and C. G. <br /> W~lford, to hold emeteur boxing exhibitions in the Grand <br /> O~era House. Wm. Wood and W. H. Biner havinF relin- <br /> quished the permit granted them sometime ago. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Dale and <br /> carried the resignation of John T. Combs police officer, <br /> was accepted . <br /> <br /> A communication from Wells and Breesler in reference to <br /> matters pertaining to W. 2nd Street Paving was read and <br /> on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded Dy Chapmen <br /> same was ~ooepted and ordered placed on file. <br /> <br /> A protest signed by a large number of property owners <br /> <br />on 17th <br />against <br />at thzs <br /> <br />Street between Durant and Santiago protesting <br />ordering l?th St. paved for the above distance <br />time, on account of the High cost of meterial <br /> <br /> <br />
