Trustees Greenleaf and Tubba being <br />appointed aa such committee. <br /> <br />Mr. C. H. Vale and A. J. Lasby were before t?~ Board <br />asking that a strip North of 20th street be abandoned <br />aea Street. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />secondsd by Grsenleaf and carried, the matter was re- <br />ferred to a committee. Trustees Greenleaf and Tubbe <br />being appointed. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />A communication from the state Immigration and Ho~sing <br />Commission asking that delegates be sent to the In- <br />stitute to be held in Los Angeles, April 5th, was <br />read and on motion of Trustee Tubba, duly seconded <br />by Greenleaf and carried the building and Sanitary <br /> <br />Inspectors were instructed to attend this meeting, <br /> instructed to notify the Commission <br /> action. <br /> <br />officer to <br />A~ril let, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tub~s <br />and carried that a c mmittee be appointed in refer- <br />ence to disposing cf the strip of l~%nd owned oy the <br />City on the East aide of Psrton between first and <br />Walnut Streets. Trustees Pale, and Chapman being <br />apvointed as such committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman , duly seconded by <br /> <br />Dale and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw <br /> <br />a warrant from the Advertising fund for $25.00 in <br /> _ <br />savor of ~, same to Oe used in advar <br /> <br />tieing motorcycle Hill Clim~a~. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded Dy Chap- <br /> <br />man and carried, E. W. Boynton was apr'ointed a police <br /> succeed John Combs. AVpolntment effective <br /> 19~0. <br /> <br />City Engineers Hoy's report in reference to conditions <br />of the pavement in the alley between 5rd and 4th St. <br />French and Broadway was read and on motion of <br /> <br />Trustee Tubbe, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, <br />the report was accepted, and on motion of Trustee <br />Tub~s, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, City <br />Attorney Scott was instructed ~o draw up the necessary <br />resolution of intention of improving said portion of <br />alley with concrete. <br /> <br /> <br />
