Reported ~hat & large <br />majority of property ownerer~a~inst paving at this <br />time, and on motion o£ Trustee Tu~Os, duly seconded by <br />Chapman, and carried, the petition to pave the street <br />was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubbs <br />sn,~ carried, the request of property owners to have a <br />strip north of 20th abandoned as s street was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~ubbs du~y s~conded by Chapman ~nd <br />carrie~ the protest against pavin6 west 10th Street <br />bet~en Par ton and Van Ness was recognized and petition <br />to pave said portion of s~reet at this time was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of <br />and carried, <br />Ford for the <br /> <br />Trustee Creenleaf duly seconded by Chapman <br />the contract between the City an~ B. F. <br />paving of a strip 9 feet wide on l~th <br />Street, from the East line of Santiago to the center lin~ <br />of Zabury street was a~proved and the bond for making <br />the improvement was referred to the chair for a~nroval. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Oreenleef duly seconded byD~le <br />and carried, Steel Finley was granted a permit to cir- <br />culate a ~etition for pavin~ E~st 4th Street from French <br />to the Santa Fe Ry.
