On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly s sounded by Tubbs and carried the application of William Duncan manager o£ the City Transfer for a permit to in- stall 125 gallon gasoline tank un4arground at their place of business, 312 W. 4th Street was referred to the Fire Committee with power On motion of Trustee Tubbe duly to act. seconded by Green- leaf and carried the statement from the ~outhern California Fdlson ~ompany accompanied by a voucher ~or $2,711.16 franchize tax due the city for the year 1920 was accepted and ordered deposited with the treasurer. In the matter of the application of the Pacific 1920 at 10: A. Trustee Tubba, City Attorney Electric Ry. Company for ~n order granting them permission to lnorease their rates at a hearing ~o ~e held before the State Ry. Co~niaalon July 15th, ~. in Los Angeles. On motion of duly accorded ~y Dale and carried Scott was instructed to attend this meeting at the expense of the city.
