F. M. Grigel~y was before the Board protesting against the proposed establishing of a Mule ~arket on East ~, 2nd near Garfield. The matter was refemred to the Board &s a committee as ~ whole, On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly se~-onded by Dale and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubba, duly seconded ~ Da3 e and carried, E. A. Kratzar was granted a permit to give free entertainments and lectures on medical topics on the vacant lot opposite Birch Park, corner 3rd and Birch. Permit granted subject to the pleasure of the Board. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the offer of t?~ Santa And B~nd to give a number of concerts at Birch P~.rk during the summer was accepted. 21 pieces at $3.OO each with ~6.O0 addition for the director, per concert starting Wed- nesday, July 21st, 3920.
