Ma~n Street Gra~e <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bide for City Garbage <br /> <br />APPROVED <br /> <br /> with right to reject any and all bids for the diggil <br /> of a certain trench approximately 4400 feet in leng' <br /> and the laying of a 14inch cement water pipe there- <br /> in from a point between Bristol and Baker Street <br /> near l?th, the City Well, and running to the City <br /> Reservoir on Olive Btreet, amd <br /> <br /> Whereas, two certain ~ld~ were offered and <br />opened, and read, on the 16th day of August, <br />at a regular meeting of the Boardl the said bids <br />not being satisfactory to the Board, the as~e Were <br />as a whole~ then and there rejected. <br /> <br /> Now therefore, be it resolved, that the Board <br />of Trustees, ar a regular adjourned meeting of said <br />Board and by vote of more than four-fifths of all <br />the lembere of the Board, that said work in queetioE <br />may and shall be performed more eoonimioally by <br />la, or, or materials, and supplies and the work con- <br />tracted for at a lower price than purposed for in <br />bide, and the Buperintendent of Water and Sewer <br />p&rtment ie hereby authorieed and instructed to ente <br />into contract for the performance of e aid work. The <br />above Resolution was read and on motion of Trustee <br />Chapman, ~uly seconded by Qreenleaf, that sa~e be <br />adopted, passed by the following vote. Ayes: Trust- <br />ees J. ~. Tubbe, C. H. Chapman, H. H. Dale, W. A. <br />Qreenleaf, and John ~. Mitchell. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee J. I. Tubbe, duly seconded by <br />H. H. Dale, and carried, the City Attorney Scott, <br />with the assistance of Attorney Clyde Bishop, was <br />instructed to prepare the necessary Resolution fix- <br />ing the grade on Main Street from its intersection <br />with let Street to its intersection with the North- <br />erly exterior ~undarlea of the City Limits. <br /> <br />On motion of Truetee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to ad- <br />vertise for Bl~e on City ~arbage, for & period from <br />December let, 19~O ~o July let, 192~.
