Ma~n Street Gra~e In Re Bide for City Garbage APPROVED with right to reject any and all bids for the diggil of a certain trench approximately 4400 feet in leng' and the laying of a 14inch cement water pipe there- in from a point between Bristol and Baker Street near l?th, the City Well, and running to the City Reservoir on Olive Btreet, amd Whereas, two certain ~ld~ were offered and opened, and read, on the 16th day of August, at a regular meeting of the Boardl the said bids not being satisfactory to the Board, the as~e Were as a whole~ then and there rejected. Now therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees, ar a regular adjourned meeting of said Board and by vote of more than four-fifths of all the lembere of the Board, that said work in queetioE may and shall be performed more eoonimioally by la, or, or materials, and supplies and the work con- tracted for at a lower price than purposed for in bide, and the Buperintendent of Water and Sewer p&rtment ie hereby authorieed and instructed to ente into contract for the performance of e aid work. The above Resolution was read and on motion of Trustee Chapman, ~uly seconded by Qreenleaf, that sa~e be adopted, passed by the following vote. Ayes: Trust- ees J. ~. Tubbe, C. H. Chapman, H. H. Dale, W. A. Qreenleaf, and John ~. Mitchell. On motion of Trustee J. I. Tubbe, duly seconded by H. H. Dale, and carried, the City Attorney Scott, with the assistance of Attorney Clyde Bishop, was instructed to prepare the necessary Resolution fix- ing the grade on Main Street from its intersection with let Street to its intersection with the North- erly exterior ~undarlea of the City Limits. On motion of Truetee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to ad- vertise for Bl~e on City ~arbage, for & period from December let, 19~O ~o July let, 192~.
