Mitchell. <br /> <br />Present : Trustees Tubbe, Chapman, Dale and Greenleaf. <br /> <br />Minutes of September 7th and 13th read and amended. <br /> <br />Minutes of Septehber 7th amended with reference to Police <br />salaries (to read, an increase of $10.O0 per month). <br /> <br />Minutes of September 13th, amended in reference to permit <br />granted Wells and Bressler for closing certain streets for <br />paving "to read "granted permission to close 10th and <br />Byoam0re Streets". <br /> <br />IN Re <br /> <br />Invitation, Portland Cement <br /> <br />Association <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Permit, F. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- <br />leaf and carried same wa~ accepted and referred to the ohs <br />for reply. <br /> <br />In the matter of the petition signed by adjacent property <br />owners in block 17, town of Senta Ann to allow F. P. Nlckey <br />permission to add another story to the rear of the build- <br />ing on Lot 10, Block 17 by modifying Section 1} of Or- <br />dinance No. 625. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly second- <br />ed by Greenleaf and carried, permission was granted. <br /> <br />The bond of E. J. Barger as principal, for $500.00 with <br />John Avis, and George W. Smith aa surety to engage in the <br />Plumbing business, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and carried referred to the chair <br />for approval. <br /> <br />The report of Street Supt. Hoy in reference to the 30 days <br />having elapsed since ~he acceptance of Grand Avenue and <br />Santa Clara Avenue and East 17th Street pavement stating <br />that final estimate on these contracts are now due and <br />payable, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded <br />by Tubbe and carried, acoepte~ and ordered placed on file <br /> <br />Avenue and Santa Clara <br />with Liberty Loan Bonds <br />tracted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed $o draw warrant on the <br />Treasurer for $1608.66 out of the S~olal Motor Vehicle <br />Fund in favor of B. R. Ford,-final estimate on E. l?th <br />Street paving, and on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />~eoonded by Ohapman ~d c~rled, the d~ of the Or,ge <br />Cowry Engineering ~d Oonetruotlon Co. for paving 8r~d <br /> <br /> Ave. for $1~8y.~1 is to be paid <br /> <br /> ~ agreed Bpo~ when work was con- <br /> <br /> <br />
