Santa Ann City Hall September 2Oth, 1920. 7:~0 P. M Board met in regular session. Meeting called to'order by Pres. Mitchell. Present : Trustees Tubbe, Chapman, Dale and Greenleaf. Minutes of September 7th and 13th read and amended. Minutes of Septehber 7th amended with reference to Police salaries (to read, an increase of $10.O0 per month). Minutes of September 13th, amended in reference to permit granted Wells and Bressler for closing certain streets for paving "to read "granted permission to close 10th and Byoam0re Streets". IN Re Invitation, Portland Cement Association In Re Permit, F. P. Nickey In Re Bond of F. J. Barger In Re Street. Supt. Report, Grand Avenue and E. 17th Street In Re Payment, Final Estimate Grand Ave. and l?th Etreete Paving, An invitation from the Portland Cement Association in- viting the Board of Trustees and City Engineer to make em $nspeotion trip of concrete pavements with themSeptember 22nd. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Green- leaf and carried same wa~ accepted and referred to the ohs for reply. In the matter of the petition signed by adjacent property owners in block 17, town of Senta Ann to allow F. P. Nlckey permission to add another story to the rear of the build- ing on Lot 10, Block 17 by modifying Section 1} of Or- dinance No. 625. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly second- ed by Greenleaf and carried, permission was granted. The bond of E. J. Barger as principal, for $500.00 with John Avis, and George W. Smith aa surety to engage in the Plumbing business, was on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried referred to the chair for approval. The report of Street Supt. Hoy in reference to the 30 days having elapsed since ~he acceptance of Grand Avenue and Santa Clara Avenue and East 17th Street pavement stating that final estimate on these contracts are now due and payable, was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubbe and carried, acoepte~ and ordered placed on file Avenue and Santa Clara with Liberty Loan Bonds tracted. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed $o draw warrant on the Treasurer for $1608.66 out of the S~olal Motor Vehicle Fund in favor of B. R.
