M. <br /> <br />The offer of S. 0. Dawson of ~35.00 for the gravel that <br />ia in the Olty Gravel Pl~ on N. Flower St. for the next <br />six months wes rejected, on motion of Trustee Greenle~f <br />Auly seconded by Dale and carried. <br /> <br />A petition signed by a number of plumbers, plumbing con- <br /> <br />tractors and building contractors, asking the ~ard to <br />at <br />retain the present plumbin~ inspector, statin~ that/the <br /> <br />present time the City of Santa Aha has one of the best <br />plumbing systems through its houses, that will be found <br />in this section of the country; thus attained through <br />the competent and efficient inspection. The petition <br />was read and on motion cf Trustee Chapman duly seconded <br />by Greenleaf and carried, received and placed on file. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br /> In the matter of the petition of property owners asking <br /> that necessary steps be taken f~r the paving of Cypress <br /> Ave. from Chestnut to McFadden, with a two layer asphalt <br /> ic concrete 5 inches thick, inst.ead of a cement concrete <br /> and asking to withdraw their ~a~aee from the former pe- <br /> tition now on file. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br /> seconded by Chapman and carried, the petition was refer- <br /> red to the City Engineer for checking against the form- <br /> er petition, and instructed to prepare the necessary <br /> plane and specifications for paving the above portion of <br /> street. <br /> <br />Thc request and offer of Amllng Bros. for the install- <br />ation of a 4" water pipe line to their greenhouse in the <br />Western part of the City and offering to pay for the lin~ <br />providing' the City will rebate them on their water <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the offer and request was granted. <br /> <br />Col. ~. H. Finley was before the Board and made a re- <br />quest that the Fire limits on E. 4th St. be extended. <br />motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapm~n s.nd <br />carried, the motion was referred to a com. of the whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
