Bonds Mr. J. L. Stepheneon, 501 W. Santa Clara Ave. was before the Board and stated that the property owners on W. Santa Clara were willing to pay £or one-half the cost for oiling Santa Clara from Broadway to Flower Sts. and requesting that same be done. On motion of Trustee Greenleef duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the request would be granted when prop- erty owners would deposit their half of the cost with the City. # On motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the request of the Or. Co. AutojTruok and Tractor Show for permission to close Sycamore St. between let and 2nd ets. during their show April llth to 16th Inc. was granted. # The request of ~. W. Opp for pe~mission to run exhaust pipe under the'sidewalk to the curb in order to operate a small 4 cyl, gas eng. at 306 N. Syc. was on motion of Trustee Greenleaf dully seconded by Chap- man zeferred to ,a committee. Trustees Greenlesf, Dale, and Tuboe being appointed as such committee, An invitation from C. E. ~c8tay, Field Secretary Auto Club of So. Cal. a~klng and inviting thl~ City to representatives to a general meeting at Bi,by Park Long Beach, April 12th, 1921, 10: A, ~. in order to take up the matter of rules amd regulations governing auto camp grounds. On motion of Trustee Tubbs that the same committee attended the meeting at Pasadena, a~tend the meeting at Long Beach, with E. W Dahl , St. Supt. added to the committee. The motion was duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried. On motion of Trustee Tubbs du2y seconded by Chapman and carried, property owners on Syc. between Church and Washington Ave. and ~Oth between Nain and Bdwy.. who have not started to pave in front of their prop- erty are given until ~pril llth. If not started by that ~&te, City to proceed ag=inet the property own- ers. Ou motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded b~ Tubbs and carried, the distribution of ~aln St. Imp. ~onds is to be from the center line of let St. to the Nort2 City ~imits prorated by the sq. ft.
