Chapman and carried, in the matter of the petition of property owners on Main St. between and 4th ets. asking that that portion of Main St. be:pa~ad~w~thna il~en~l~oh, oOn~rete base and 2" asph- altic concrete wearing surface under Specifications gO was granted. ~nomm~iehl~f~u~tee Greenleaf duly seconded by Dale and carried, the monthly reports of the Bldg. Inspect- or, Sanitary Inspector, Recorder, Elr e Ohief and Marshal, were ~efarred to the Finance Committee. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded b7 Dale the Clerk was ir~truoted to draw warrants demands as audited b7 the finance eom- and carried, to cover the mittee. # ~n motion of and carried, Trustee Tubbe duly seconded by Greenleaf the s~oplication of W. T. ~inslow to con- duct ~a~r shop at the N. E. Cot. of ]rd and French in pstrt of the old Banner ~ills was denied, On the ground that the building had been condemned by the Building Inspector. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dais and carried, S. J. Cornell was granted a permit to con- duct a public dance hall at athletic Hall, ~rd and £purgeon eta. w~x~ed under the supervision of Police Dept and City Ordinance governing the same. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded oy Tub~s and carried, President Mitchell was .authorized to sign the contract with Wells a~d Bresa]er for the paving of approximately 16, gO0 sq. ft. of 5', 1-2-4 concrete pavement according to the plans and specifications "A" and 100 and approximately 500 lineal ft. of con- crete curb in conformance to Ordinance No. On motion of Tru, tee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, City ~ngineer Hoy was instructed to pre- pare plans, s~eclficatlone and profiles for the nec- essary culverts on Main Street.
