ArmstronE for permisstc~ <br /> <br /> to conduct a pool and billiard hall at 1027 East Fourth <br /> F~treet. was referred to the Chairman of the Police <br /> Committee. <br /> <br />The request of D. P~mentel fcr permission to conduct a <br />]~nch room at 9]~ East Fo'~.~t]. S~.~[ w~.s referred to <br />Trustee Tubbs, 8hairman of the Police Co~ittee, on <br />motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br /> <br />and carried. <br /> <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the request of M. I. Lewis for permission to <br />conduct a sandwich and cold drink stand at 318 East 4th <br />Street was referred to the Chairman of the Police <br />Co~ittee. <br /> <br />A petition was presented, si~ned by ail the property <br />owners on West Chestnut between Main and Sycamore, askin <br />that the above portion of Chestnut be ~aved by private <br />contract with 5 inch Portland cement concrete and belt <br />f~nish wearing surface. On motiou of ~ustee ~bbs, <br />duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the petition was <br />granted. <br /> <br />A petition si~ed by J. Earl Talcott, P. G. Beissel and <br />Fred Newcomb, asking the Board to release from record <br />Lot 6, Block "A", Tract 241, reserved by them for street <br />pu~oses, was read. ~e ~tition was accompanied by a <br />release signed by F. Wakeham, property owner adjoining <br />Tract 241 on the North. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, dul~ <br />seconded by Dale and carried, the matter was referred to <br />the Board as a Co~ittee of the Whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
