Greenleaf, and Jotm G. Mitchell. ~inutes of May 15th, 22nd and In Permit W. A. Collins. In Re Application W. A. Armstrong. In Re' ~equest of B. Pimentel. In nequest of M. L. Lewis. In Re Petition to Pave West Chestnut. In Re Petition to release Lot 6, Tract No. 241. 7:30 P. M. 20th approved as read. '~he request of W.A. Collins for permission to establish a fruit stand in the parking on the north side of Fourth Street ju.t esst of the Santa Fe tracks was granted, on motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carri, On motion of Trustee Chapman, carried, the application of duly seconded by Dale and A. ArmstronE for permisstc~ to conduct a pool and billiard hall at 1027 East Fourth F~treet. was referred to the Chairman of the Police Committee. The request of D. P~mentel fcr permission to conduct a ]~nch room at 9]~ East Fo'~.~t]. S~.~[ w~.s referred to Trustee Tubbs, 8hairman of the Police Co~ittee, on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried. ,, On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the request of M. I. Lewis for permission to conduct a sandwich and cold drink stand at 318 East 4th Street was referred to the Chairman of the Police Co~ittee. A petition was presented, si~ned by ail the property owners on West Chestnut between Main and Sycamore, askin that the above portion of Chestnut be ~aved by private contract with 5 inch Portland cement concrete and belt f~nish wearing surface. On motiou of ~ustee ~bbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the petition was granted. A petition si~ed by J. Earl Talcott, P. G. Beissel and Fred Newcomb, asking the Board to release from record Lot 6, Block "A", Tract 241, reserved by them for street pu~oses, was read. ~e ~tition was accompanied by a release signed by F. Wakeham, property owner adjoining Tract 241 on the North. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, dul~ seconded by Dale and carried, the matter was referred to the Board as a Co~ittee of the Whole.
