Fifth Street was referred to the Street Committee <br />and Street Superintendent with power to act. <br /> <br />The request of John C. Nelson, Evangelist, to erect <br />tent at 2nd and Broadway for holding religious meet, <br />ings, was, on motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconds <br />by I~le and carried, referred to the Police Cormmitte~ <br /> <br />The application of ~ L. Franks for permission to <br />conduct a fruit, cold drink and lunch stand at 915 <br />East Fourth Street was, on motion of Trustee ~le, <br />duly seconded by Chapman and carried, refer~ed to th, <br />Police Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, seconded by Chapman and <br />carried, the request of A. G. Thornton for the open- <br />ing of a street from Fourth to Central ~venue betweex <br />Grand and Eastside Avenues, was referred to the City <br />Engineer to check over the ground. <br /> <br />A protest against the installation of ~ filling sta- <br />tion at MsFadden and Main Streets was read. <br />motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />carried, the protest was denied account permit ha~ing <br />already been granted and work started. <br /> <br /> <br />
