Greenleaf was elected President Pro Tam. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, the application of F. B. Bullard for <br />pe~ission to erect and conduct a lunch stand on First <br />Street Just ~est of Excelsior Creamery, was referred <br />to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, the bond of Wagner-Woodruff Company for <br />doing electric work in the City of Santa Ara, was <br />referred to the Chair and City Electrician for <br />approval. <br /> <br />A complaint from Mrs. C. H. Wright was read, with <br />reference to weeds on lot at northwest corner of <br />Patton and Hickey. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, the matter was re- <br />ferred to the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />A communication and resolution of the City of ~uller- <br />ton was read, with reference to the Joint Ou~fsll <br />Sewer. On motion of T~u~stee Chapman, d~ly seconded b~ <br />Tubbs end carried, same was referred to the b~haix-man <br />of the Joint Board to be taken up at the next regular <br />meet lng. <br /> <br />On motion of ~h~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, Tuesday, September 5th,V:SOo~cloek P. M. <br />was set as date for hearing appeals against Cypress <br />Avenue improvement assessments. <br /> <br />Ci-~y Engineer Knox submitted s report concerning bank <br />protection along Santiago Creek at Flower Street, in <br />which he recommended construsting a breakwater of <br />piling and wire.
