On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded <br />by Chapman and carried, the City Engineer was in- <br />structed to prepare court map showing land to be <br />sought and district to be a~sesaed in order to e arty <br />out the opening of street. <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, John C. Nelson, Evangelist, was <br />granted permiss~n to erect a tent at 2nd & Broadway <br />for holding religious services. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~bbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, T. L. Franke was granted pe~misa~ <br />to conduct a fruit and lunch stand at 918 E. 4th St.! <br /> <br />Mr. <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Jack N~ll~ce was before the Board requesting <br />City to improve 15th Street from French Street <br />to the S. P. Tracks with rock and oil. On motion of <br />Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, <br />it was Agreed that the City should carry out the <br />necessary grading and work~ material to be furnishe~ <br />by the property owners. <br /> <br />Upon request of Trustee C. H. Chapmmn, he was <br /> <br />excused from the Peat of the meeting. <br />,, <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale <br />and carried, Mr. Rouselle is to be notified, <br />through proper channel, to remove dirt from So~th <br />Main Street drainage ditches. <br /> <br />On motion ~f T~ustee Dale, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, the City Attorney was instructed to <br />draw up contract with Harper BPoe, for two years, <br />for furnishing a city dumping ground, with keeper, <br />at rate of $28.00 per month in accordance with thei~ <br /> <br /> submitted <br /> <br />bid <br /> <br />Mr. John Nicholson was before the Board stating that <br />he hsd signed petition for paving Bush Street with- <br />out knowing the sort of pavement contemplated, and. <br /> <br /> <br />
