M, 11 & 30. <br /> <br />In Ht <br /> <br />Petition for Street <br /> <br />Light- 3rd & Flower Sts. <br /> <br />Permit <br /> <br />~em Electric Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Map Tx, act No. 354. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ma~ Tract No. 520. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Protest - Business Block <br /> <br />Washington & Main Sts. <br /> <br />Santa Aha City Hall. <br /> <br />Oct. 16th, 1~22. 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />A cormmanication f~om the 'City Attorneys' Association <br />of Southern California in reference to Constitutional <br />Amendments 10, 11 and 50 to be voted upon at the <br />November election, was read, in which the Association <br />requested the adoption of resolutions against the same <br />and to give all possible publicity in local papers. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, same was adopted a~d local papers reques~ <br />to publish the same. <br /> <br />A petition signed by a number of property owners on <br />Third %~ Flower Streets requesting a street light be <br />installed at above location, was read, and on motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, <br />the matter was referred to the Street Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of ~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried, the request of the Gem Electric Company <br />to hang an electric sign at $0~ Eas~ Fourth Street was <br />granted, under the supervision of the City Electrician. <br /> <br />O~motlon of ~k~ustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chapman and <br /> <br /> carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Boards <br /> <br /> subdivision within <br /> <br />approval to MAp Tract No. 334, a <br />the three mile limit. <br /> <br /> A motion of Trustee Chap~an~ <br /> <br /> duly seconded by Tubbs <br /> and carried, that MAp ~aet No. 520 would be accepted <br /> by the City when a $5000~ bond is filed with the <br /> Clerk and approved by Chair, for the construction of <br /> curbs, sidewalk, gutters and grading of streets: t~aat <br /> She grading of Garnsey and Flower Streets south of <br /> Fairview Avenue would not be carried out until the <br /> council requested the same. <br /> <br />Attox~ey Rutan was before the Hoard protesting against <br />granting a permit for s business block on the Northeast <br />corner of Washington and MAin Streets, stating that <br /> <br /> <br />
