On motion of ~k~ustee <br />Tubbs, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the <br />Building Inspector was instructed to notify the par~y <br />securing the permit for such a building to postpone <br />construction thereof until permit is granted by the <br />Board. <br /> <br />A grant deed from t~-e Santa Aha Cormmercial Company <br />for the westerly ten feet of their property for a <br />sewer right of way was accepted, on motion of T~us- <br />tee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried <br />and Clerk instructed to have the same placed on <br /> <br />record. <br /> <br />On motion <br />Tubbs and <br /> <br />of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />carried, Street Superintendent Dehl was <br />instructed to notify Kaufman & Sons to vacate the <br />alley lying between Wright and Mabury, Palm Ave. ar~ <br />1st St. <br /> <br />A protest signed by property owners and residents ~n <br />the vicinity of 2nd and G. arfleld Streets against <br />the issuance of a permit for a Blacksmith Shop at <br />this loc~tion; was read. On motion of Trustee <br />Tubbs, duly seconded ~ Chapman and carried, the <br />protest was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and ca,Tied, the protest signed by a number of <br />property owners against the paving of East Walnut <br />Street between Halladay and Cedar Streets, was <br />deni ed. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs,duly Se~ded <br /> <br />leaf and carried, the Police Department are instru~- <br />ed to enforce the awning ordinance in reference to <br />height. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee O. H. Chapman, seconded by <br />Trustee J.W.Tubbs, and upon call of the roll duly <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for <br />bids for the construction of the Joint outfall <br />sewer in accordance with plans and specifications <br />prepared and on file in the office of the city <br />engineer. <br /> <br /> Notice for bids to be published in SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> <br />
