M. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Emle, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, the request of ~amusl LaVietes <br />for permission to conduct a wrecking business at <br />915 East Fourth Street was 'referred to the ~olice <br />Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by ~ap- <br />man and carried, the request of O. Sanchez for per- <br />mission to operate a tamale wagon on the streets <br />was referred to the Police Committee. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />Dale and carried, Kaufman & Sons were granted a <br /> <br />ninety day extension of <br />alley on the north side <br /> <br />time in which to vacate <br />of their property. <br /> <br />A copy of an order of the hailrosd 'Commission <br />revoking authority and dismissing applica$ion of <br />A. T. & S. F. E~. for permission to construct spur <br />track on Santiago Street was ~resented. On motion <br />of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by T~bbs and <br />carried, same was referred to the City Attorney. <br /> <br />A petition was presented requesting that some pro~ <br />vision be made to care for culvert water which <br />accumulates at Fourth & Bush Streets. On motion <br />of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the matter was referred to the Street <br />Cormnittee. : <br /> <br />A petition signed by a number of property owners on <br />West Walnut Street requesting thst that portion of . <br />said street lying between Flower Street on the Eastl <br />and Baker Street on the West be improved with five <br />inch portland cement concrete with belt finish wear~ <br />lng surface under 1~11 J~nprovement and 191~ Bond Ac..~ <br />was presented. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, same was referred <br />to the City Engineer. <br /> <br /> <br />
