Board met in regular session. Meeting called to order by President Mitchell. Present: Trustees J.W.Tubbs, C.H.Clmpman, H.H.Dale, W.A.Greenleaf, John G. M~ chell and the Clerk. Minutes of October 16th, 23rd, 2Vth, 30th, and Nov. 1st. read and approved. In Re Application Eddie Baum In Re Application Mrs. C. E. Crouse. In Re Permit Roy J. Lyon In Re Permit - Cope Else. Co. Electric Signs. In Re Chamber of Commerce Remove Tree In Re Petition for St.light W. Highland Street. Santa Ana City Hall. November 6th, 1922. V:30 P.M. On motion of ~¥ustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chap- man and carried, the application of Eddie Baum for permissionto conduct a restaurant at ~08 Sturgeon St. was referred to the Police Committee. On motion of ~uatee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the applica .~pn of Mrs. C. E. Crouse for permission to conduct a restaurant at 111 ~ast Sixth Street was referred to the Polloe Committee. On motion of Trustee D~e, duly seconded by Greenleaf end carried, Roy J. Lyon was granted permission to hang an electric sig"n at 628 N. Main Street, under the proper supervision. On motion of Trustee E~le, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Cope Electric Company was granted permission to hang electric sig~ns at 425 West Fourth, 4 West Fourt and 405 South Birch, under the proper supervi si on. On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the request of the Chamber of Commerce that city remove an umbrella tree which interferes witl ornamental light in the parking near new school on North Main Street, was referred to the Street Committe. A peri%ion.was presented asM~ng for the installation of street light on West Highland Street approximately 4§0 Ft. East of Bristol Street. On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, same was referred to the Street Committee. In Re Petition to Pave Forest Avenue. A retition signed by property owners on Forest Avenue for the improvement of that portion of said street lying between Fourth and Fifth Streets with 8" concre~ pavement with belt finish wearing surface under the 1911 and 191~ Acts, was presented.
