In Re Drainage. In Re Bids Riverine Avenue. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the City Engineer and Street Superintendent were instructed to investigate drain- age conditions at various culverts throughout the city and do everything possible.to relieve unsgtis-~ factor~ condition. This being the time and place fixed for the opening of bids or proposals for the work ordered done and improvement ~dered made upon and alomg that certain open public street in the city of Santa Aha commonlx known as Riverine Avenue, briefly described in Resolution of Intention No. 846 and ordered done in t~esolution No. 8S2 and the Board of %h"ustees being duly convened in open session proceeded to and did publicly open, examine and declare all bids received. Bids were received as follows: item 1. '£~e regrading to a sub-~rade and the laying of a six (6) inch concrete pavement wlthbelt finish wearing surface complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment ~nd material on an eati-~ mate of 4V,864 square feet. Item 2. lhe construction of concrete curb com- plete with furnishing of all necessary equipment and material on an estimate of 100 linear feet. Ite~ ~. ' lhe trenching, furnishing and laying of five four (4) inch house branch sewers from the main to the curb line complete with th~ furnishing of ali necessary equipment and material on an~estimate of 84 linear feet. Ford for the work or improvement as the lowest responsible bidder therefor at the price named in his bid. ~ustee J.W.Tubbs then introduced a resolution awarding the contract to B. R. Ford. The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered and designated Resolution of Award No. 8VO. The roll was ~lled and the resolution passed by the vote of the follow, ing named members of the Board of Trustees: i Ayes: ~stees J.W.Tubbs, C.H. Chapman, ti.H.Dale, W.A.Greenleaf, John G. Mitchell.
