In Re <br /> <br />Drainage. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Bids <br /> <br />Riverine Avenue. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by <br />Dale and carried, the City Engineer and Street <br />Superintendent were instructed to investigate drain- <br />age conditions at various culverts throughout the <br />city and do everything possible.to relieve unsgtis-~ <br />factor~ condition. <br /> <br />This being the time and place fixed for the opening <br />of bids or proposals for the work ordered done and <br />improvement ~dered made upon and alomg that certain <br />open public street in the city of Santa Aha commonlx <br />known as Riverine Avenue, briefly described in <br />Resolution of Intention No. 846 and ordered done in <br />t~esolution No. 8S2 and the Board of %h"ustees being <br />duly convened in open session proceeded to and did <br /> <br />publicly open, examine and declare all bids received. <br /> Bids were received as follows: <br /> item 1. '£~e regrading to a sub-~rade and the <br /> laying of a six (6) inch concrete pavement wlthbelt <br /> finish wearing surface complete with the furnishing <br /> of all necessary equipment ~nd material on an eati-~ <br /> mate of 4V,864 square feet. <br /> <br /> Item 2. lhe construction of concrete curb com- <br />plete with furnishing of all necessary equipment <br /> <br />and material on an estimate of 100 linear feet. <br />Ite~ ~. <br /> ' lhe trenching, furnishing and laying of five <br /> <br />four (4) inch house branch sewers from the main <br /> <br />to the curb line complete with th~ furnishing of ali <br />necessary equipment and material on an~estimate of <br /> <br />84 linear feet. <br />Contractor Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 <br />T.W.Oglesby .23 .50 .SS <br /> <br />Wells & Bressler .23~ .50 .50 <br /> <br />B. R. Ford for the work or improvement <br />as the lowest responsible bidder therefor at the price <br />named in his bid. <br /> <br />~ustee J.W.Tubbs then introduced a resolution <br /> <br />awarding the contract to B. R. Ford. The resolution <br /> <br />was ordered filed, read, considered and designated <br /> <br />Resolution of Award No. 8VO. The roll was ~lled <br /> <br />and the resolution passed by the vote of the follow, <br />ing named members of the Board of Trustees: i <br /> <br />Ayes: ~stees J.W.Tubbs, C.H.
