Hubbard Jr., for a permit to erect andaoonduot an auto washing rack at 409 N. Birch was granted, on motion of Trustee Chapman d~uly seconded by Dale and carried. # On motion of Trustee Tubbs dully seconded by Dale and carried, the application of E. E. Edwards for a permit to conduct an oil filling station and auto repair chop at 1001 W. 5th St., was referred to a committee. Trustees Tubbs and Dale being appointed as such committee. On motion of Trustee Dale duly seconded by Tubbs a~d carried, 'the bond of Paul MoMillen ~c do private contract cement sidewalk and curbing was referred to the chair for approval. In the matter of the protest of E.P. Stafford agal~ the proposed opening of Bush from its present terminus to Edgewood Road. The proposition of Mr. Stafford that if the proposed opening was poatponed for three years, he would deed a right-of-way through his property- free. On motion of Trustee Greanleafduly seconded by Chapman and carried, t~ offer was accepted and City Attorney Scott was in- structed to procure from Mr. Stafford the necessa~2 contract for same. The request of Rev. J. Rlohards of the M. E. Chu~- ~outh, for a permit to have erected a tent for re- vival services on the 0ounty~ vacant lot on Sycamore Street, across from the court House was granted motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, under the supervision o~ the Bui]din~ a~d Sanitary Inspectors. In the matter of the protest of residents and property owners against a freight and express in using the lot on the Northwest corner of ~nd that the I~e declared a nui~ance. ~n motl ~
