Fourth <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Map Tract 252 <br /> <br />St. <br /> <br />Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Chapman and carried~ <br /> <br />City Attorney Scott was instructed to abate the <br /> <br />above stated nuisance. <br /> <br />A petition signed by a number of property owners <br /> <br />on West 9th Street, between Bristol and Artesia, pe- <br />titioning and~requesting that the above portion <br />of said street be graded and improved; also asking <br />that a fire plug be placed at a proper location. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, the matter was referred to the <br /> <br />City Engineez and to report at next meeting of <br /> <br />the Bo er d. <br /> <br />A protest <br />17th <br /> <br /> signed by a number of property owners on <br />east of Broadway pzotesting against the <br />presSnt plans and specifications, calling for a <br />O~n~rete' base and ,a~phalt wearing surface, request- <br />ing that the same be changed to call for a 6~ <br />Portland Cement Concrete pavement with belt finish <br />wearing surface. On motio~ of Trustee Tubbs duly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and. carried, the matter was <br />referred to the Board as a committee of the whole.~ <br /> <br />On motion of Tr~ tee Chapman duly seconded by <br /> <br />Tubbs and carried, City Attorney Scott was lrs truct- <br />ed to draft a Resolution for the abandoning of <br />the City sewer line which crosses lots ~-~-4-5-6 <br />and 7, of the Spu~geon St. Tract, North of <br />Washington Ave. <br /> <br />On motion ,of Trustee' Greenlesf duly seconded by <br />Tubbs and carried, Arnold Peak's request to out <br /> <br />the curb on Broadway <br /> <br />Corner 4th and Bdwy., <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />at the rear of his property <br />was granted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Green- <br />leaf and carried, St. Supt. Dahl wasinstructed to <br />see that the sidewalk in front of the premises <br />occupied by Liggett and Bernie on East 4th Street <br />is repaired at once. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by <br /> <br />Tubbs and carried, that when the bond for map <br /> <br />Tract S252 was approved by the President of the <br /> <br />Board, the Clerk be authorized to sign the Boards <br /> <br />approval of the Tract. It being understood that <br /> <br />Orange and Cypress Avenues are to be 40 f~%betwee~ <br />~u~bs, <br /> <br /> <br />
