On motion <br />Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the <br />matter was referred to the Street Committee and at~$et <br />Superintendent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the request of L. B. Babblt for a permit to <br />erect a permanent awning in front of the property at <br /> <br />20? N. Main St. occupied by the Crystal Clewing Co. <br />was granted under the supervision of the Bldg. On motion of Trustee Gfeenlsaf duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, the petition was <br />and City Engineer instructed to prepare plane and <br />specifications for the same. <br /> <br />The motion of Trustee Tubbs that m committee be app <br /> <br />to look into'condition for paving Washington Ave. from <br />Broadway to Ross, was duly seconded by Greenleaf and <br />carried. Trustees Greenleaf and Chapman being appointed <br />as such committee. <br /> <br />The following recommendation from the Park Board was <br />presented to the Board by their Secy. Mme. Jean H. Grubb. <br />That W. J. Vander Bruggen, Custodian of the City Parks <br />be gmployed after April 1st, 1922, under contract at & <br />salary of one hundred and thirty-five ($1~5.O0) dollars <br />per month. Said W. J. VanderBruggen to supervise all <br />park work amd pay for same out of salary epeeifi~d ex- <br />cept heavy work such as removing trees or help on special <br />occamions when park is used for large crowds. On motion <br />of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, <br />the matter was referred to the Board as a committee of <br /> <br />the whole. <br /> <br /> <br />
