The motion to "City Attorney instructed to prepare a notice to be served by the Chief of Police, notifying the parties to abate the nuisance." In the matter of the application of Crla Sorensen. for a permit to conduct a pool and billiard Ball ~n the basement of Sam Hill's Market, Northwest corner of 4th and Bdwy. The appllcatiom was referred to the Police Committee, on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapma~ and carried. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly secor~ed by Chapman and carried, the application of Horace ~mphy for a permit to conduct a tent theater on the North side of West 3rd St. between Birch and Ross, under ~otiOnc7%~of Ordinance No. 65g, was granted. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the application of M. O. Hawk for permission to erect a building of tem- porary construction on the fzont of the vacant lots, 411 & 413 N. Sycamore and to erect sheds for parking automobiles on the rear of these lots, was gr~tedumder the supervision of the Building Inspector and Fire Chief. In the matter of the petition of property owners on West Chestnut from Flower to Baker Sts. lng that above portion of street be improved by leveling and grading and the spreading of gravel. The petitioners to pay their re~peotive share for same according to frontage. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Tubbs and oar- tied, the request would be granted when property owners deposited with the Supt. of Streets, an amount to cover the cost of same.
