~nRe I~ounty Board of Supervisors H~port City Limits. finance committee. # On motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapman and carried, the following report of the County Super- visors in reference to annexation of property was accept- ed and ordered spread on the minutes of this meeting. Santa Aha, Csllfornia, February 2gth, 1922. The Board met in regular session. Present Supervisors T.B.Talbart, Chairman, S.H.Finley, N.T.Edwards and the C1 ark. Absent: Supervisors, Wm. Sehumacher and H.A.Wassum. In Re: ANNEXATION: On motion of Supervisor Finley; duly seconded and carried, the following resolution was regulsrly passed and adopted. Whereas, notice was received from t~e Board of ess of t~eCity ~f eax, ta Aha, a municipal corporation of the 5th class, eitmated and lying in the County of Orm~ge, State of California, that a petition was signed by not less than one-tenth in number of ~he~-qualifled electors of such ~Anlcipal corporation, computed upon the number of votes cast at the last general municipal election herein therein, have petitioned the said Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, that the boundaries of said incor- porated city be altered andnew, uninhabited territory annexed thereto, incorporated and included therein which territory is situated in the County of Orange, State of California, s~d described as follows, to-wit: All .of the Northwest qu~areer (HW/4) of Seotion~ nineteen ~1~), township five (5) South, Range Nine ~9) West, S.B.B.&M. lying West of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's forty-foot right-of-way,all in the County of Orange, State of California, and, Whereas, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange, State of California, has caused notice to be published for a period of five days setting fort~ by general description the land sought to be annexed to said municipality and setting forth the time and place when and where objections to said annexation will be heard;axxd Whereas, no protestations or remonstrance against such annexation has bee~ or is made and good cause appear- ing ther ezra, YT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors cf County of Orange, State of Californ~, that the said Board does hereby consent to the annexation of said un- inhabited territory by the said municipality. State of California County of Orange I, J.M.Backs, County Clerk and ex-officio Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, do hereby certify the fore- going to be a full, true and correct copy of the minute entry on record in my office. Bonds- North Main Street This being the time and place for the opening of bids and for the sale of the improvement bonds on a portion of North Main Street and no bids having been ~iled or re- ceived, it was by the Board of Trustees ordered that 66 bonds, 55 in the denomination of $500.00 and ll in the denomination of $~g0.O0 bea~ing interest at th~ rate ~
