Resolution of Intention No. ?66 for the closing of a certain street or alley, being all of that certain street or alley 30 ft. in width deeded to the City~ for street purposes, lying adjacent to and parallel with the westerly side of the Pacific Electric Ry. Companys 40 ft. right-of-way and extending from the South line of Mc~'adden St. southerly to the south City limits of the City of Santa Ana. On motion of Trustee Greenle~f duly seconded by Chapman the Resolution was adopted by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees J.W.Tubbs, C.H.Chapman, H.H.Dale, W.A.Greenleaf, John G. Mitchell, Noes:trustees,none. A resolution ordering plans and specifications for pavement of a portion of East Seventeenth Street and West Seventeenth Street was introduced, read, cony sidered, designated Resolution No. 767, the roll was called and t~ resolution passed by the following vote: Ayes, Trustees J.W. Tubbs, C.H.Chapman, H.H. Dale, W.A.Greenleaf, John G. Mitchell. Noes: Trustees, l~ne, Absent: Trustees None. Trustee H. H. Dale introduced an Ordinance entitled as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA GRANTING TO PACIFIC LAND COMPANY, A COR- PORATION, A FRANCHISE TO OPERATE AUTO- MOBILE BUSSES ON, ALONG, AND OVER PUBLIO STREETS OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, PRE- SCRIBING REGULATIONS ~ID CONDITIONS ~OVER- NING THE USE OF SUCH FRanCHISE, REGULAT- ING THE P~Y~NT OF A PERCENTAGE OF THE GROSS ANNUAL RECEIPTS ARISING THEREFROM,' AND PROVIDING EOM THE FORFEITURE THEREOF. The Ordinance was ordered filed, read, considered, designated Ordinance No. 6?8 submitted to the City Attorney and Special Counsel. An Ordinance amending Ordinsnce No. 658 rand section 24 thereof, pertaining to transit shows, theaters~ circuses, and other similar entertainments adopted and approved by the Board on the 30th day of Nov. 1~20, was given 1st reading and on motion of Trustee Tubbs duly seconded by Dale, referred back to the City Attorney.
