Thorsos was granted a permit to conduct a <br />creamery on East Second Street near the Pacific Electric <br />Railway Company's tracks. <br /> <br />On the motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, Street Superintendent Dahl was irs tructed to <br />grade Fairlawn Street from Fifth to Hickey, acoordin~; to <br />the recommendations of City Engineer Knox. <br /> <br />The offe~ of A. S. Ralph to give the City a fleet rate for <br />insurance on all of the City motor equipment including the <br />Elgin Street Sweeper, total amount of insurance $30,000; <br />all equipment to be equipped with fire extinguishers at a <br />~remium Of $195.00, on motion of Trustees Tubbs, ~uly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and oarried,~was accepted. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, the Bond of E. F. Kennedy to do'private contract <br />cement sidewalk and curbing work, was referred to the Chair <br /> <br /> for approval. <br /> <br />In the matter of the petition of property owners to have <br />the width of certain streets in the East Side Addition <br />reduced from eighty to fifty foot streets, same was denied <br />on motion of Trustee Greenleaf duly seconded by Chapman <br />and carried by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees Tubbs, Chapman, Dale <br /> <br /> Greenleaf and Mitchell <br /> <br />Noes: Trustees None <br /> <br /> <br />
