Main, <br /> under the same plan as the Alexander Parlors: On motion <br /> of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the <br /> permit was granted. <br /> <br /> On motion of T~ustee Dale, duly seconded by Cha~an and <br /> carried, the application of M. P. Miller for a license to <br /> conduct a cafe at 403 East Fourth Street was referred to <br /> the Police Committee. <br /> <br />In the ma~$e~ of the application of C. H. Ryan for a permi <br />to eondu~t a sales stable at the Northeast corner of Fifth <br />and Arteaia Streets: On motion of Trustee Tubhs, duly <br />seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the request was granted <br /> <br />The comunioation from Dan V. Noland, Attorney for Mrs. <br />Winifred Roberts~ in reference to withdrawal of any offer <br />heretofore made to accept the $§0.00 assessed Mrs. Roberts <br />as a fine, as a settlement and demanding the s~ of <br />SASl.§O, was read and on motion of Trustee Dale, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, the matter was referred <br />to the City Attorney and Special Counsel. <br /> <br />On motion of Trnstee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs <br />and carried, J. ~. Antoine was granted a permit to lay an <br />irrigation pipe line across Artesia Street between Washiz <br />ton Avenue and Ninth Street in two different places, under <br />the supervi~ on of the Street Superintendent. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~hapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf <br />and carried, the Clerk is instructed to sign the Board's <br />approval of Map Tract 2~8 when the Bond accompanying the <br />same has been approved by the President of the Boar~. <br /> <br />The bond of F. J. Homart for private cement sidewalk and <br />curbing and the bond of the Hollow Wall Concrete Company <br />for electric wiring were, on motion of ~a~astee ~Abbs, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, referred l~ the ~hair for <br />approval. <br /> <br /> <br />
