In Re Canvass of ~pecial Election Returns, On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Tubbs and carried, the ,uanner of the disposition of t~e Ua]anco left in the East First Street Improvement Bond Fund was referred to the City Attorney and Special Counsel to report to the Board at the hex6 meeting. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Dale and carried, President Mitchell was authorized to sign the contract with the Dixon Pump Works for the construction of a steel tower for the Fire Department, according to their bid on the smme. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Dale and carried, the Board acce.oted a Grant Deed from the Orange County Title Company for a three foot strip along the South side of Elock "B" of the Buckingham Tract for street puroose, and the Clerk was instructed to record the same. The following recommendation from the Fire Chief and Building Inspector in reference to parking yards or stations: that all outside wails be enclosed down four feet with plaster board and balaqce of same to be of heavy wire screen, and no rem ir shops to be carried on in said yard.~ On motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, this recommendation was accepted and ordered olaced on file. This being the first Monday after the 4th day of April, 1922, on which was held in the City of Santa Aha the Special Election called by Ordinance No. 6V~ of said City, and the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, being duly convened in an adjourned regular meeting, .and the returns of said s~e cial election having been duly made and in the possession of the Clerk, the Board of Trustees proceeded to canvass the same; from the returns of ~aid Special Election, and the canvass thereof it appeared and the Board of Trustees find and order to be here established of record as follows:
