Leonard for permission to cut the curb at the Northeast corner ,Sixth and Main Streets was referred to Trustee Gr~enleaf and Street Superintendent Dahl with power to act~ on motion of Trustee Dale, duly seconded by Chapman and carried. . On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Greenleaf and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Board~s approval of Map Tract No. 271. ,, On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly second by Dale and carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for bids for furnishing a dump body, complete with hoist, for the garbage truck, according to specifications on file in the office of the Street Superintendent. On motion of Trustee Greenleaf, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, Street Superintendent Dahl was instructed to interview Knox and Stout in reference to securing a Ford truck equipped"with', a dump body for the Street Department on a rental basis. A petition signed by a number of property owners' on West First Street lying West of Flower Street, petitioning the Board to Srder West First imProved with 5 inch. Portland cement and belt wearing sur~ face; work to be done under the Improvement Act of 1911 and the Bond Act of '1915, was presented. On motion of Trustee Greenteaf,duly seconded by Dale and carried, the matter was referred to the City Engineer for checking and to report at the next meeting of the Board. . A petition signed by a number of property owners on Bush Street, north of Santa Clara to the extreme northerly end thereof, asking the Board to order the above portion of street improved with a 4" concrete base and belt wearing surface under the 1911 Improvement Act and the 1915 Bond Act, was read, and, on motion of Tr~stee Dale, duly second~ ed by Greenleaf and carried, the petition was referred back to the petitioners to have same changed from 4 inch to 5 inch.
