In Re License Com. In Re Award of Contract E. & W. 17th St. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by ~reenleaf and carried, Trustees Dale and Chapman were appointed a Committee with the Clerk to check over the delinquent licenses. This being the time and place fixed and of which notice bas been duly given for the o~entng and consideration of sealed proposals or bids for doin~ the work and making thc Im~rovewent upon a rortlon of East Seventeenth Street and Test Seventeenth Street ordered done nnd made by Reso~u- tion No. 785, amd the Board of Trustees bein2 duly con- vened in an adjourned regular session thereof, proceeded to Consider all bids received and ~n open session publicly oDened, examined and declared the same. Bids were received as follows: Item 1. The regrading to a subgrade and the laying of a six (6) inch concrete pavement with belt fin- ish wearing surface, complete with the furnishing of all n~cessary equipment and material on an esti- mate of 158281.29 square feet. Iie]~ 2. The construction of concrete curb complete with ~rnishing of all necessary equipment and material on an estimate of 175.5 linear feet... Item ~. ~e trenching, furnishing and laying of four (4) inch house branch sewers fro~: the main sewer to the curb line complete with furnishing of all necessary equipment and material on an estimate of 470 linear feet. The board of Trustees rejected all of the bids except the bid of R. ~{. Ford, it being the lowest regular proposal or bid of a responsible bidder and awarded the contract for the work and improvement to B. R. Ford at the price named in his bid. Trustee J. %'~. Tubbs thereupon introduced a peso- lution which was ordered f~led, read and considered, designated Resolution of Award No. 790, the roll was
