On <br />motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale and <br />carried, report was referred to the Board as a whole. <br /> <br />City Engineer Fmox reported that petition for <br />ornamental lights on West Fifth Street carried more <br />than 50 per cent of the signatures of property owners <br />on said street. On motion of Trustee ~bbs, duly <br />seconded by Chapman and carried, the matter was <br />referred back to City Engineer to proceed further. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, ~ank E. Howell and E. ¥~. Boy-ton <br />were appointed as Police Officers to fill vacancies <br />recently made. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale <br /> and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the <br /> Board's approval to M~p Tract No. ~8~, when the bond <br /> covering improvements is approved. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly seconded by Chap- <br />man and carried, the Clerk w~s instructed to sign <br />the Board's approval to Map Tract No. ~20, with the <br />provision that in accepting this track Garnsey Street <br />is not to be graded and the north entrance to said <br />street and the half of ~lower Street that is in thia <br />subdividion is not to be opened until such time as <br />provisiom can be made to take care of the drainage. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Chapman, duly seconded by Dale <br /> and carried, the Clerk was instructed to draw a <br /> warrant on the City Treasurer in amount of $~1~0.00 <br /> in payment for work on Outfall Sewer, due at this ~ <br /> <br /> Two petitions were presented for the paving of <br /> <br /> Bush Street from Washington Avenue to the north end <br /> of street. On motion of Trustee Tubbs, duly second~ <br /> by Chapman and carried, petitions were referred to <br /> the City Engineer for checking and action deferred <br /> until next meeting. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Green~eaf, duly seconded by <br /> Tubbs and carried, sale of bonds for the improvement <br /> of French Street was Continued to Jan. 10th, 192~. <br /> <br /> <br />
