E. Martin. On motion ~ Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chapman and carr~ d, it wee decided that City sl~ll rent to Mr. A.W. Walker one acre of ground on Edinger St. et re~tal of $2B.00 per year, payable in adwnce. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by McPhee and carried, bid of So,~thern California Edison Company in amount of $3a~.~for resetting poles in connection with installation of fi~e alarm system was accepted, bid to be revised end properly presented. On motion of Trustee Chssman, seconded by Neff end carried, the Chair was authorize~ to appoint committee to confer with City Engineer and Mr. ~ishop with reference to settlement w~th Eugene Griset covering right of way for S~s Ana Main Line ~ewer: Trustees Chapmen, M~Phee and Neff were appointed as such Committee. On motion of Trustee McPh~e, seconded by Ohs~men and carried, telephone pole on North Main Street in fro~t of UPs. Medlook's property, is to be moved three feet South from present location and City Engineer was in- structed to so advise Telephone Company and ~roperty owner. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman and carried, side suspension street light was ordered installed on Buffalo kmlf way between Broadway end Main The Committee appointed to investigate matter of install new accounting system for the City presented a oowa~unics- tics from Albin E. Johnson Compsr~ giving general outline of the proposed syei~. On motion of Trustee Chapman, ~ b7 NefTet~fcam~ied, x-epo~twss accepted and it is sense of the Bm rd that some action be taken along similar lines. This being the time end place for opening bids for the bonds issued for the work done on portions of Bush E. & W. 20th and East Santa Clara Avenue, under Heso~ut! of Intention No. 914, end no bids having been received: on motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by McPhee and ,,bonds were ordered delivered to the contractor.
