On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Board's a~Droval to Nap Tract No. 648 when a-bdividera post writte agreement to construct curbing on Fsirview at Ross and Van Ness to conform wlth 40 ft. paved section, and file neaessary bond. # On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by MePhee and carried, the Clerk was instructed to sign the Board's a~nroval to MaW Tract No. 660. Mr. h~ox re~orted that in order to care for defective drainage on South Main Street he recommends that cua-b and gutter be constructed at estimate~ expense of $5800.00. On motion of Trustee MoPhee, seconded by Neff and carried, the Clerk was authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of curb and gutter along S. Maln St. from Oxford to South line of Edinger St., as per plans and soeoifioatione on file with the City Engine er~ Bids to be ~pened Pcb rusty 18th. On motion of T~atee ~oPhee, seconded by Chaiman and carried, Wm. J. Jenkins was apoointed as Police Ofg~cer. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Neff a~d carried C. Bondley was granted permission to erect revolving barber pole st' 115 East 2nd St. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Chapman ~d ~arried, application cf H. G. Gardner for permission to erect round electric sign at ~11 N. Sycamore was denied. On motion of Trustee McPhee, carried, Wet er Superintendent seconde~ by Chapman and was authorized to make necessary changes in water line in alley betwee,, ~rd and 4th and Main and Sycamore ets. On motion of Trustee C~apman, seconded by Neff ~nd carrie, the ,Dpoihtment of Albin E. Johnson Co. for making audit end installing book keeping system for the City, as ~r agreement, was approved. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman and carried, the Chair wes authorized to appoint Committee to investigate backfilling of sewer trenches on West 5th St. Trustee~ Neff and City Engineer Knox were appointed aa such Committee.
