In Re Resolution No. llV2 Award of C~ntract West 18th St. In Re ~esolution of Award No. llV~ - Forest Ave. This being the time end place fixed for the craning of bids or proposals for the work ordered done ~nd imnrovement mede upon nnd along , portion of that open public street in the city of Santa Ans commonly known es West Eighteenth Street, briefly described'in Resolution of Intention No. 1149, and the Board being convened in o~en session, proceeded to and did publicly open, examine and declare all bids received. Only one bid wes received, being that of B. R. Ford who bid ss f~llcws: Item 1. The regrading to s sub,grade and the laying of s fiwe (5) inch concrete pavement with belt finish wearing surface, complete with the furnishing of all necessar~y equipment and material on sn estimate of 16,25V.50 square feet for the sum of Twenty and nine tenths cents ($0.209) per square foot. Item 2. The trenching, furnishing sad laying of three (~) four (4) inch house branch laterals from the mein sewer to the curb line complete with the furnish- ing of all necessary equipment sad material on an est,- mate of 51 linear feet, for the stwn of fifty cents ($0.50) ~r linear ~ot. Item ~. The construction of concrete curb complete w~th furnishing of all necessary equipment end material on an estimate cf 180 linear feet for the sum ~ forty-five cents ($0.48) per linear foot. The Board of Trustees thereupon accepted the b~d mentioned and awarded t~e contract to B.R. For~ fo~ the work or imorovement as the lowest responsible bidder therefor, at the price named in his bid. Trustee Neff thereupon introduced e resolution awarding the contract to B. R. Ford. The resolution was ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution of Award No. llV2 and passed by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees OH. Chapman, Geo. McPhee, Nat H. Neff, J. W. Tubbs. Noes: Trustees None. Absent: Trustee C. L. Killen. .
