A petition w~s ~reseuted requestfn~ ~vin~ of Baker Street from 8th St. to Santiago Creek, which pet~tlon represented ~9% of frontage involved. On motion of Trustee Neff, duly seconded by Chapman and carried, City Attorney and C~ ty Engineer were ~nstructed to ~t~t necessary ~roceedln~s. ~eports from Sanitary, Buildin~ and Plumbin~ Inspec~ tots sad Fire Chief wlth reference to sanitary cond~tlons sad fire hazard at 925 French Street were read. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Neff and carried, reports were accepted -nd referred to the City Attorney. A communication from the Chamber of Commerce submitting a report from their Committee containing recommendations with reference to the present health situation in the city of banta Ana. seconded by ~icPhee accepted and place On motion of Trustee Chapm, n, and carried, commur~icst~on w~s on file and t~'e Clerk instructed to communication with ~hsmber of Commerce thanking them for their co-operation. On motion of Trustee ~oPhee, seconded by Chapman ~nd carried, City Attorney w~s instructed to pre, re ordinance increasing water rates tD $2.80 ocr t~p in order to ~'ake' care of necessary expenditures in connection with w~ter mains, sewers, etc. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman carried, the Clerk w~s instructed to s~gn the Board's aOproval to maps of Tracts 668 and 50V,subdivisions within the three mile limit.
