In Re <br /> <br />Reeolutlou of Awerd <br /> <br />~o; 1166 - E. 4th St. <br /> <br />neeolutton of Awsrd <br />~o. 116~ - Fairview Avenue <br /> <br />~l~er to Bristol <br /> <br />This being the tine and place fixed for the opening <br />of bids or proposals for the work ordered done ,nd <br />improvement mede upon and along s portion of that open <br />public ~reet in the city of S~ta And commonly known <br />as Ee~t Fourth Street, briefly described in Resolution. <br />of Intention No.1144, and the Board being convened in <br />open session, proceeded to shd did publicly open, examine <br />and declare all bids received. <br /> <br /> Only one bid was received, being that of Steele <br />Finley, who bid ss ~l~ews: <br /> <br /> Item 1. The regradfng to a sub,grade and the laying <br />of five (§) inch concrete base in accordance with the <br />plans and specifications, complete with the furnishing <br />of all necessary equipment, labor and material on an <br />estimate of 1~.~0 w~uere feet for the sum of fifty <br />cen~e ($0.~0) per s~w~are foot. <br /> <br /> Item 2. The 1,ylng of one sad cnew~lf (15) inches <br />of asphaltic concrete top wearing surface in acc~danc~ <br />with the ~lens end specifications, complete to the <br />official grade with the furnishing of all necessary <br />equipment, labor and material, on mn estimate of <br />1864.20 square feet for the sum of thirty cents <br />per square foot. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees thereupon acceded the bid <br /> mentioned and awarded the contract to ~teele Finley <br /> for the work or improvement ss the lowest responsible <br /> bidder therefor, at the price named in his b~d. <br /> <br /> Trustee Neff ~hen introduced a resolution awarding <br /> the contract to ~teele Finley. The reaction was <br /> ordered filed, read, considered, designated Res olutionl <br /> cf Award No. 1166, and ~ ssed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees C.H.~hap~n, Geo. McPhee, Nat H. Neff, ~. W. Tubbs. <br /> <br /> Noe~: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> Absent: Trustee C. L.
