On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman and carried, communication w~s farted to Joint Outfa~] Sewer Attorney to r~port back at next meeting ~ this Board. On motion of Trustee Neff, seconded by Chapman end c~rried, City Attorney and City Engineer were instructed to take proper steps f~ the paving of Valencia Street from 1Vth to 20th and petitions for onv~ng of Bishop St. from P. E. Tracks to Oak St. and Twentieth St. from 5purgeon to Santiago were referred to the City Engineer. On motion of Trustee Chapm~n, sedonded by Neff ~nd carried, the President was auth~ized to s~n easement for sewer llne across Pacific Electric tracks ~t Wskebam Avenue. On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Neff and carried, City will repair immediately water line under Oak Street which has been danmged by install- ~tion of s~wer. On motion o~ Trustee Chad,man, seconded by ~eff and carried, the Clerk was in[trusted to draw worrant in favor of J. %%. James in amount of ~145.45 cover- to esr in~ dsmo~es/sustained in ~ccldent on ~est 1st St. caused by eden manhole. On motion of carried, the Trustee ~ePhee, seconded by Neff nnd Clerk was Instructedto deDo~it ~dth the Treasurer, speck in ~mount of ~VS.00 received from s~]e of ~dl,imed bicycles collected by Police Derartment.
