In Re Bill of sale - horses. 69 On motion of Trustee VcPbee, seconded by Chapman and carried, City Attorney w~s instructed to prepare and forward to Santa Barbara a resolution of condolenc~ in behalf of the City with reference at that nlace. On motion of Trustee to recent dlsastex Puri~ton seconded by ~z~ap~an ~nd carried, recuest of Md. Harmon for use of city water et sewer farm for a short ti~e w~s referred to the Water Committee and City Attorney with power to Act. Chas. D. Swarmer, representing Areric~n Legion and Co. "F" was before the Board requesting donation to Compan "F" ~ess Fund toward expense of encampme~t. On motion of Trustee ~cPhee, seconded by Chapman an~ carried, request was granted ~d warrant ordered drawn. On motion of Trustee ~cPhee, seconded byP~trinton carried, H. J. Dyssrt w~s granted permission to hold d~,nces on Thursday n~ghts, at Elite Mall, ~16~ E. ~rd St., with provision that Mr. Dyssrt pay for services of special police officer to be stationed at hall by Police Chief; this permit granted at pleasure of Board, On motion of Trustee ~cPhee, seconded by Purlnton end carried, Plumbing Inspector was instructed to furnish Board with estimate of cost of necessary repairs to plu~Iblng in City Hall. Ca motio~ of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carried, Sanitary Insyector was instructed to place tags on dilapidated garbage cans notifying owners that same must be kept in proper condition for garbage. On motion of Trustee Purinton, seconded by Chapman and carried, wooden appro.ches over sidewalks were ordered removed throughout the city. On motion of Trustee Purinton, carried, voucher in amount of seconded by Chapman end $1Z2V.05 from the California Edison Company covering franchise tax in accordance with Ordinance No. 2~4, was accepted and the Clerk instructed to deposit with the Treasurer. On motion of Trustee McPhee, seconded by Purinton and carrie~ bill of sale was ordered issued to ~.J.Ritter covering team of horses recently pnrchased from the Street Department.
