D. Cre~shaw & Co. <br />in payment of audit for the quarter ended gune 30th <br />1927. <br /> <br />W. C. Jerome, County Auditor, presented to the <br />Board a warrant for $10, O00.O0 from Orange County <br />toward the improvement of South Main Street. On <br />motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, that said warrant be accepted and deposite~ <br />in the General Fund to be used in payment of a <br />tion of the cost of the improvement of South Main <br />Street as set forth in Resolution of Intention No. <br />1729. <br /> <br /># <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee ~cBPtde, seconded by Ooode and <br />carried, it was decided that the Board take no ac- <br />tion relative to creating the office or appointment <br />of City Bakery Ynapector. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee McBride, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, the application of L. H. Lucas for permit <br />to conduct a Lunch ~¥agon on E. Third Street next <br />to the Pickwick Stage Depot was denied. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, communications from Guggenhime & Company <br />and the Southern Pacific Railway Company in refer- <br />ence to paving of Fruit Street crossing we~e aecelx~O <br />and ordered placed on file for future reference. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee G~ode, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, communications from S. C. Kruly stating <br />that he could not sign contract on the improvement <br />of the Southwest Sewer District No. l~O, were ac- <br />cepted and o~dered placed on file. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A petition was presented signed ~ property owners <br />on Logan Street between Washington Avenue on the <br />~outh and to the North line of Smith' s Subdivision <br />~equesting that that portion of Logan Street be <br />paved with a five inch asphaltic concrete pavement~ <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and <br />carried, the City Engineer was ~.nstructed to prepe~ <br />plans and specifications covering a five inch <br />asphaltic concrete pavement according to petition. <br /> <br /> <br />
