On motion of <br /> <br />T~ustee Goode, sec,~nded by McBride end carried, th~ <br /> W S draw plans and specifications flor <br />City Engineer~o instruo~ed <br /> <br />the installation of ornamental lights known as Kin <br />Standard No. K. O1V1 as requested in petition. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and <br />carried, the Clerk was instructed to advertise for <br />bids on approximately $1200.00 worth of Mazda Lamps <br />for the coming year. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Knox and <br />carried, the City Attorney was instructed to procee <br />with abandonment proceedings on a portion of Fruit <br />Street from Santiago Avenue to the Northeast line <br />of Blocks 51 and 52 of Santa Aha East. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by McBride and <br />carried, the City Attorney and City Engineer were <br />instructed to take necessary steps to acquire title <br />to two hundred feet East from Poinsetta on StafCord <br />Street for road purposes, under the MatOon Act. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Goode, seconded by Kelly and <br />carried, the City Engineer was instructed to prepar <br />plans and specffications for a five inch asphaltic <br />pavement for the following streets:- Poinsetta <br />Street from Sixth to Washington~ Vance Street from <br />Garfield to Poinsetta, S~afford Street from Get,eld <br />to Poinsetta, Brown Street from Garfield to Poin- <br />setta, Sixth Street from Garfield to Poinsetta and <br />Fruit Street from Polnsetta to the Northeast line <br />of the Southern Pacific Railway Company's right of <br />way. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Mr. Otto Jacobs appeared before the Board request- <br />ing the City tO pay the monthly light bills of the <br />Baseball Association at Lincoln Field during the <br />baseball season. On motion of Trustee Kelly, seeon <br />ded by Knox and carried, the Clerk wa~ instructed <br />to draw warrant from Advertising Fund for light <br />bill of Baseball Assoc&ation. <br /> <br /> <br />
