Washington Ave. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution of Intention <br /> <br />No. l~25--Fruit Street. <br /> <br />in their bid, $42V8.00 for concrete reservoir with con- <br />crete roof· and the City Attorney instructed to prepare <br />contract covering; all certified checks and bonds to be <br />returned to the unsuccessful bidders by the Clerk. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Chapman, seconded by Goode, and <br />carried, all bids on gas engines and deep well pump <br />were rejected and the Clerk instructed to return all <br />certified checks and bonds to bidders and advertise for <br />new bids. <br /> <br />This being the day and hour set for the hearing of pro- <br />tests against the improvement of So. Van Ness Avenue, <br />as set out in Resolution of Intention No. 1~17, and the <br />Board of Trustees be!hq now in regular session· procee- <br />ded to consider said protests. <br /> <br /> No owner of property liable to be assessed for said <br />work made written protest or any protest aEainst the <br />proposed work or aEainst the extent of the district to <br />be assessed therefor and no person appearing te protest <br />or object or show any cause why the improvement should <br />not be carried out in accordance with Resolution of <br />tention No. 1~1~, the Board of Trustees deemed that it <br />had acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed improve- <br />ment. <br /> <br /> Trustee Goode introduced a resolution orde~ the <br />work to be done and improvement made as briefly set out <br />in Resolutioh of Intention No. l~l~. The resolution was <br />ordere~ filed, read,considered, and designated Resolu- <br />tion Ordering Work No. 172~ and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees <br /> <br />C.H.Chapman, Geo McPhee, E.B.Collie <br />Stanley E. Goode, F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees None <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees None. <br /> <br />A Resolution adopting plans and specifications for the <br /> <br />improvement of East Washington Avenq~ from the West ~in~ <br />of Lincoln Street to the center line of Grand Avenue~ <br />mas filed, read, considered, designated Resolution N9. <br />1~24 and passed by the following vote: ~ <br /> Ayes· Trustees C.H.Chapman,Geo McPhee,E.B.Coll{er~ <br /> Stanley E.
