Co. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Resolution No. 1V16 <br /> <br />Determining Unpaid assessments <br /> <br />E. 4th Street Lights. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance reference <br /> <br />Zoning. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Plumbing Ordinance. <br /> <br />In Re <br /> <br />Ordinance Abating <br /> <br />Certain Buildings. <br /> <br />315 <br /> <br />On motion of T~ustee Goode, seconded by Chapman and carried, <br />the City Attorney was instructed to draw up an agreement <br />between the City of Santa Ana and the American Outdoor Adver <br />tising Company of Los Angeles, with reference to the main- <br /> <br /> trash cans throughout the business district. <br /> <br />tenance of <br /> <br />This being the time and place when and where interested <br />persons might appear and show cause why bonds should not be <br />issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments for work <br />done and improvement made upon East Fourth Street and Porter <br />Street, in accordance with Resolution of Intention No. 1631, <br />and the Board of Trustees being now in session, proceeded to <br />hear protests presented. No person appearing to protest or <br />show cause why bonds should not be issued, Trustee Goode <br />introduced a resolution determining the unpaid assessments <br />for work and improvement made upon said streets, the aggre- <br />gate thereof, directing bonds to be issued for the security <br />of the unpaid assessments, prescribing the denominations of <br />said bonds and providing for the issuance of same in annual <br />series. <br /> <br /> The resoltion was ordered filed, read, considered, and <br />designated Resolution No. 1V16 and pasted by the following <br />vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes: Trustees <br /> <br />C.H. Chapman, Gao McPhee, E.B. Collier <br />Stanley E. Goode, F.L. Purinton. <br /> <br />A proposed ordinance entitled:- <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance to be known as the Zoning Ordinance of the <br />City of Santa Ana, California, prescribing the ~lasses of <br />Buildings, StruStures and Improvements and ~ses or Additions <br />in the several zones to be created by this ordinance; and <br />providing the penalty for the violation of the same." <br /> <br />was introduced, read, considered and referred back to the <br /> <br />City Attorney. <br /> <br />An Ordimence providing for the appointment of a Plumbing <br />Inspector, regulating the method of constructing p~umbing <br />work, etc. was introduced. Ur. Frank Thomason of the Grand <br />Central Plumbing Company and Dr. V.G. Presson of the Orange <br />County Health Department expressed their approval and urged <br />the passage of the proposed ordinance. The ordinance was <br />read and considered and on motion of Trustee McPhee, secon- <br />ded by Collier wad nameleSS back to the City Attorney for <br />checking. <br /> <br />A proposed ordinance entitled:- <br /> <br /> "An Ordinance creating a Board of Condemnation, defining <br />bui~dings which constitute a mena~e to public safety and <br />providing the means of ascertaining such fact and abating <br />such buildings, and providing a pemalty for the violation of <br />the same." <br /> <br />Noes; Trustees None <br /> <br />Absent: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> <br />
