The resolution was <br />ordered filed, read, considered, designated Resolution <br />Ordering Work No. 1748 and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees C.H.Chapman, Ceo McPhee, E.B.Collier, <br /> Stanley E. Goode, F.L.Purinton. <br /> <br /> None. <br /> <br /> None, <br /> <br />Noes, Trustees <br /> <br />Absent, Trustees <br /> <br />Trustee Chapman introduced a resolution entitled as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br /> A resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana, determining and declaring that weeds which <br />bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and attain such a <br />large growth as to become a fire menace when d~y and which <br />are noxious and dangerous, are growing upon certain streets, <br />sidewalks and private property in the said City of Santa <br />Ara and are a public nuisance; directing the Street Super~ <br />intendent to post notices to destroy said weeds, aa re- <br />quired by law; fixing the time for hearing objections and <br />protests; and directing the abatement thereof in accord- <br />ance with an Act of the Legislature of the 8tats of Cali-' <br />fornia entitled "An Act authorizing municipalities to <br />declare noxious or dangerous weeds growing upon the <br />streets or sidewalks, or upon private property within <br />municipalities, to be a public nuisance, creating a lien <br />upon the property fronting upon such ~treets or sidewalks <br />or upon which such nuisance exists for the cost of abat- <br />ing same, approving May 26th, 1915:" <br /> <br />The resolution was o~dered filed, read, considered, <br /> <br />designated Resolution No. 1749 and passed by the following <br /> <br />vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Trustees C.H.Chapmant Geo McPhee, E.B.Collier, <br /> Stanley E.
